👋 Hi my name is JR Mocaby! I’m the owner of JMOC'S Kayak Rigging & Repair in New Braunfels TX. I grew up in Southern Illinois, and have been bass fishing since the age of five, and began kayak fishing in 2013. After moving to Texas in 2017, I jumped into the kayak industry. I worked for and managed Austin Canoe & Kayak in San Antonio, and the Fin Factory, as well as the No Bad Days Kayak in New Braunfels, TX. 

Mid 2024, I turned my passion for kayak fishing into a business, specializing in custom kayak builds, rigging, and repairs to help anglers create reliable setups, and get on the water with confidence. 

These days, I actively compete in kayak bass tournaments throughout Texas. I fish Texas Bass Nation Kayak Series, West Texas Kayak Fishing Tournament Series, and the All Starr Fishing Trail Series.
